Alfred Grazioli and Adolf Krischanitz


Alfred Grazioli was born in Basel, Switzerland in 1940. He studied architecture at the HFG Ulm and at the EAUG Geneva. He was assistant at the ETH Zurich and Lausanne. Since 1972 he has been Professor at the University of Arts Berlin. He co-founded an office of architecture, urban design and interior design with Wieka Muthesius. Since 2001 he has worked in collaboration with Adolf Krischanitz in Zurich and Berlin.
Adolf Krischanitz was born in 1946 in Pongau, Austria. During his studies of architecture at the University of Vienna, he co-founded the working group “Missing Link” with Angela Hareiher and Otto Kapfinger. From 1991–1995 Adolf Krischanitz was the president of the Secession in Vienna. He has been a visiting professor and teacher in Vienna, Munich, Karlsruhe and Berlin, and since 1992 is professor for Design and Urban Renewal at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin. Adolf Krischanitz is partner and director of Architekten Krischanitz & Frank ZT GbmH in Vienna, Berlin and Zurich and works in cooperation with Alfred Grazioli.
