Archea Associati
In 1988 the architects Laura Andreini (born in 1964), Marco Casamonti (born in 1965) and Giovanni Polazzi (born in 1959), graduated from the Florence Faculty of Architecture, and founded the Studio Archea in Florence. In 1999 they were joined by Silvia Fabi and in 2001, with the opening of a new branch in Rome and Genoa, Massimiliano Giberti.
Along with studio’s main activities, each member carries out teaching and research activities in Italian faculties of architecture: in Genoa, where Marco Casamonti is professor of Architectural Design, and in Florence where Laura Andreini conducts research and teaches a course in Architectural Composition. The office has six main branches in Florence, Rome, Genoa, Milan, Beijing and Dubai, with approximately one hundred employees.
