ピーター・エブナー講演会

「The first 3D printed house and other design- and technical concepts we are working on」

◆概要
Building, planning and designing are processes that involve many people. Peter Ebner designed and realized together with mechanical engineers, aerospace engineers and architects a small house fabricated only with 3D printing technology. He tells "We are not interested in following Gottfried Semper's description of „Stoffwechseltheorie“. We wanted instead of just printing a house to search what would be possible in the future with this technology." He would like to share ways of thinking and working on key projects realized around the world in his lecture.

◆経歴
Peter Ebner was trained as a carpenter, mechanical engineer and as an architect. He taught at Harvard GSD, UCLA, TUM, HUD, ROMA TRE, UTE. From 2003-2009 he was the chair of the Housing department at the TUM and from 2009-2016 he was Director of 3M Future LAB at UCLA & HUD. He was also Director for Housing Theory at the MCH in Madrid.
